Gender and sexual orientation harassment fall into this family. Sexual harassment is considered a form of illegal discrimination in many countries, and is a form of abuse (sexual and psychological) and bullying.

The keyword here is unwelcome attention. It was certainly unwelcome then. But it's rather confusing now. The cops will investigate, regardless. Because reports are not supposed to be retracted after being made. The full investigation will take place. If the contents of the reports are true, the harasser would be liable. Otherwise the harassed risks lodging false reports.
